PKU Pioneer’s Overseas Revenue Surpassed $30 Million in First Half of 2021, Leading Position in VPSA & PSA Oxygen Generation Further Consolidated

In the first half of 2021, China has formed a complete supply chain offering high-quality products with lower prices. As a result, orders from worldwide come to China in large quantities, leading to China's prosperous export business. PKU Pioneer took advantage of the situation and adjusted related strategies flexibly, with every staff working hard in the same direction, we've achieved the biggest breakthrough in our history, and our leading position in the field of VPSA & PSA oxygen production technology has been further consolidated. According to the statistics, PKU Pioneer’s total revenue in the first half of the year has exceeded $108 million, of which the overseas results surpassed $30 million.


During the first half of this year, PKU Pioneer’s overseas business has made multiple breakthroughs. PKU Pioneer received an urgent inquiry from our partner, a leading Indian steel enterprise. And during the technical exchanges, the Indian team expressed their full recognition and trust in PKU Pioneer's rich experience in VPSA oxygen production for Indian steel mills, and the two parties hence consecutively signed the contracts for 3 sets of VPSA oxygen units within 3 months, with the total oxygen production capacity reaching 48,000Nm3/h.


Previously, PKU Pioneer has built 2 sets of oxygen generating systems for this customer, which have been operating stably for many years with advanced process indexes and creating a high return on investment for the user. It is worth mentioning that with PKU Pioneer’s mature leading oxygen production process, the customer has become the first steel manufacturer in India using VPSA oxygen plants.


Furthermore, PKU Pioneer recently reached a cooperation agreement with a leading enterprise in the cement industry in Korea to build a 5000Nm3/h VPSA oxygen generator, helping Korea firstly realize the application of VPSA oxygen generation technology in cement kilns for oxygen-rich combustion. It's also our largest VPSA oxygen plant exported to the cement industry.


Over the years, with our outstanding domestic performance, PKU Pioneer has established a good reputation and is committed to further expanding our brand influence in the international market. Although VPSA oxygen generation technology has been widely and profoundly applied in the domestic market, the industrial application of VPSA oxygen plants as effective units for supplementing oxygen for blast furnaces in iron & steel mills in overseas markets needs to be further promoted, so that more foreign iron & steel mills can benefit from the VPSA oxygen generation process.


As of July 2021, with a total oxygen production capacity of approximately 300,000Nm3/h, we've won the bids for 25 VPSA oxygen unit projects, 70% of which are above 5000Nm3/h, including a great number of super-large VPSA oxygen equipment projects above 25000Nm3/h. Up to now, PKU Pioneer has built more than 300 VPSA & PSA industrial oxygen plants and achieved the first ranking performance in China for 10 consecutive years with the medium and large-capacity VPSA oxygen systems above 5000Nm3/h occupying the absolute domestic market share. With the achievements rising year by year, in order to meet our business development needs, PKU Pioneer has invested tens of millions to expand our production base in Hebei to upgrade the production lines of high-efficiency oxygen molecular sieve, CO adsorbent and other products. The annual production capacity will be increased by more than 50% to further support our business development for a more efficient and complete internal supply chain system. By virtues of lower energy consumption, simple operation, faster start-up & shut-down, higher turndown ratio, PKU Pioneer’s VPSA oxygen plants are able to effectively save the construction and operation costs, making PKU Pioneer a first-class supplier of VPSA oxygen equipment in the world.
