PIONEER Research on Project Improvement- Saving Land for Customers

2019-12-11

By the end of 2019, Pioneer’s annual turnover has reached ¥600 million as per the preliminary statistics on new projects this year, which will usher in a new historical breakthrough. Meanwhile, Pioneer still spares no effort in optimizing oxygen plant project management and improving engineering quality. On December 3, 2019, the Engineering Technology Department held the sixth Project Management Seminar this year. All the top managers including the chairman Zhang Jiaping, general manager Tang Wei, and deputy general manager Geng Yunfeng attended the occasion to discuss and analyze the existing problems with the aim of producing reasonable solutions for practical implementation.

Technical Personnel of Pioneer Raising Questions & Having Heated Discussions

At the meeting, all those present discussed the relations between "advanced technology" and "quality products", and reached a consensus on the definition of quality products.

First, the advanced nature of technology depends on tangible products to reflect its efficacy or value. Furthermore, high-quality products should fully meet user needs within a certain period of time to offer decent user experience continuously.

Take the vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation technology (VPSA-O2) of Pioneer as an example, advanced technology enable us to form market advantages of lower power consumption and stable operation of oxygen plant through process optimization. However, the quality product needed by customers are not limited to those, it also includes standardized engineering construction, flexible solutions, perfect after-sales service, high-value-added consultation & advice, etc. Only by constantly upgrading the UX can we cast a deep impression of quality products on customers.

Regarding after-sales service, the staff at the scene agreed that all the demands of customers have certain rationality. We should adhere to this criterion in project service and understand the requirements put forward by them thoroughly to solve problems from the perspective of clients, which can effectively promote technical staff to maintain a positive attitude in engineering services. We must respond to customers' demands, which is a reflection of Pioneer's professional brand in details.

In view of the existing problems, the participants agreed that technical personnel should take into account factors such as land saving and material loss reducing when designing drawings for VPSA oxygen plant projects.

"Even if it takes more time to ensure compact land and reasonable floor layout, we should provide the best proposal for users cause details such as land conservation, process compliance, and convenient daily equipment maintenance are of great concern to our customers." Geng Yunfeng raised further requirements on the design of oxygen plant drawings.

Pioneer's technical team of VPSA oxygen generation technology believes that during project implementation, execution problems caused by uncontrollable factors will often be encountered. Based on the experience gained, the project team will resolve the issue in good faith for customers to promote an agreement by negotiating related problems and requirements raised by clients even if the service has exceeded the scope of the technical agreement.

The ultimate goal of Pioneer's attaching importance to oxygen plant project management improvement and process optimization is to continue consolidating Pioneer's market advantages through integrated product and service, further boosting competitive differentiation and creating more value for customers.
